About me

I am an aspiring mathematician with a passion for personal finance and advanced sports analytics

My journey to my current path

Raised on a farm in rural Vermont, I quickly fell in love with the mountains around me. Due to a strong influence from my mother I began to develop a passion for cooking throughout high school and after graduating in 2010 I left for Oakland California to pursue my passion. After almost a decade of sweating it out in the kitchen I began to feel unfulfilled and frustrated with my path. Making the choice to began the long process of getting a bachelors degree. This brought me to the town Reno where I began to attending the University of Nevada. During my first few semester at UNR I have found a new passion in the field of mathematics. I am now perusing a bachelors degree in applied mathematics and I hope to one day be able to use these new skills in order to solve some of the worlds most complex problems through math.

Hobbies

I spend most of my free time trying snowboarding or hiking around the Sierra Nevada mountains. But I always make sure to make time to sit down and watch the Yankees play during baseball season.
